TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Family Practice Associate Medical Director to provide both clinical and administrative leadership within a community-based primary care organization serving underserved patient populations throughout the Sacramento area.\n

\nPosition Details\n
\nLeadership opportunity combining clinical practice and medical management responsibilities\n
\nOversight of Family Practice clinical operations, quality initiatives, and provider performance\n
\nCollaborate closely with executive and clinical leadership teams\n
\nResponsibilities include:\n
\nClinician mentoring, evaluation, and performance improvement\n
\nDevelopment and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and workflows\n
\nOversight of referral management and specialty care access\n
\nParticipation in quality improvement and compliance initiatives\n
\nClinical documentation and EHR optimization\n
\nStrategic planning and operational support\n
\nMaintain an active outpatient Family Practice panel while providing medical leadership\n
\nServe a diverse and underserved patient population in a community health setting\n
\n
\nSchedule:\n
\nFull-time\n
\nMonday–Friday\n
\nDaytime clinic hours\n
\n
\nClinical Responsibilities:\n
\nComprehensive primary care services\n
\nPreventive care and wellness visits\n
\nChronic disease management\n
\nAcute care visits\n
\nCare coordination and specialty referrals\n
\nPatient and family education\n
\nTimely review of laboratory, imaging, and consultation results\n
\nMedical record completion and quality documentation\n
\n
\nRequirements:\n
\nMinimum 3 years of recent outpatient primary care experience\n
\nPrevious leadership or management experience required\n
\nFQHC experience preferred\n
\nOne of the following:\n
\nMD or DO with completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency\n
\nCurrent Board Certification in Family Practice\n
\nActive and unrestricted California license\n
\nAbility to obtain payer credentialing\n
\nBLS certification required\n
\nACLS and/or PALS preferred\n
\n
\nCompensation & Benefits:\n
\nPhysician (MD/DO)\n
\nAnnual compensation: $230,880 – $300,144\n
