Senior Staff Accountant

This role handles full-cycle accounting with a heavy focus on high-level financial reporting, operational analysis, and long-term career growth. You will enjoy a flexible workplace culture that values work-life balance, because we believe you can be serious about GAAP while still having a life outside the office. salary: $90,000 - $95,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including complex Journal Entry (JE) preparation and processing. Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive Balance Sheets, P&L statements, and executive-level financial reporting packages. Cost Accounting & Analysis: Support cost accounting functions and inventory valuation, analyzing production variances and operational costs (or eagerness to learn this domain). Internal Controls: Assist with SOX compliance, internal control documentation, and audit readiness. Process Improvement: Dig beneath the surface of financial data to identify efficiencies, solve discrepancies, and streamline day-to-day accounting workflows.
