Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures, including echocardiography, to assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions. Ensure patient safety and comfort while capturing high-quality images for clinical review.

Responsibilities:

• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images of internal organs and structures.
• Perform echocardiogram procedures, including both standard ultrasounds and echo-specific studies.
• Follow established protocols and safety procedures to ensure high-quality image capture.
• Maintain patient comfort and deliver clear instructions during imaging procedures.
• Document patient data accurately and prepare images for review by physicians.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements including ARDMS and BLS certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARDMS certification in ultrasound and echo testing.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Possess proven experience in performing ultrasound and echocardiography procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ultrasound equipment operation and image optimization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Be able to provide proof of a negative TB test within the past 12 months.
