Please contact office for full job description!What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Payroll Clerk Details:Temporary position$ 25.47 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Balance payroll deduction and benefit reports from the payroll system to vendor invoices, if applicable, and prepare check vouchers.External reporting related to payroll information.Researches discrepancies of payroll information and/or documentation for the purpose of ensuring accuracy and adherence to collective bargaining agreements and policies and procedures.Process third party payroll payments into the financial information system for proper reporting.Payroll Clerk Qualifications:Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.Add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Springbrook Payroll systems; Internet software; Human Resource systems and Accounting software.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employmentA conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
