Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Position

Greenwood, South Carolina | 2026–2027 School Year

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year in Greenwood, SC. This is a school-based position serving a diverse student population across grade levels. We are also open to hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) under appropriate supervision.

Position Overview:

The SLP will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting. You will collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers to support student success and communication development.

SLPAs will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to implement therapy plans and support student progress.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations (SLP role)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support AAC and assistive communication needs as appropriate

Qualifications:

For SLP:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• South Carolina SLP license or eligibility
• ASHA CCCs preferred (CFY candidates encouraged to apply)

For SLPA:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in SLPA or related field
• South Carolina SLPA certification/licensure (or eligibility)
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• 2+ Years of Experience
