We're partnering with a privately-owned, award winning and very well established specialty MGA looking for proven underwriting leaders who want more ownership, more influence and a genuine share in the value they create.

This is joining an MGA with an already successful platform in the US, UK and wider Europe.

This is for underwriters who know how to create profitable growth and are ready to have a bigger stake in the outcome.

The opportunity

Join an established MGA platform with the infrastructure, carrier relationships and distribution strategy already in place, whilst having the autonomy to build and grow a specialist underwriting business as if it were your own.

You'll have the freedom to make decisions.

And importantly, you'll still be underwriting.

People who enjoy winning business, managing broker relationships and growing profitable portfolios, not individuals looking to spend their days in management meetings.

Who we're interested in

Typically, you'll have:

Around 15 plus years' underwriting experience

Existing MGA experience or have been a production led role and have tangible distribution

A track record of profitable growth

Strong distribution relationships

A clear understanding of your portfolio performance and loss ratios

The ambition to build something meaningful

Priority areas include:

• Environmental
• Inland Marine
• Sports and Leisure
• Surety
• Allied Health
• Brown Water Marine
• Yacht Insurance
• Equine
• Specialty EPI Programmes

We're also interested in senior underwriters within:

• Professional Liability
• Environmental
• Artisan Contractors
• Other niche profitable lines

On offer will be a salary up to $300,000 plus bonus/profit share, intentions to grow a $50million plus business in 3-5 years time with a target 50% or better loss ratio.
