Special Education Paraeducators - Hyde Park Elementary School Hyde Park Elementary School is searching for two Special Education Paraeducators to join our team in Hyde Park, Vermont. The successful candidate will be a caring and collaborative paraeducator to work within our joyful community of learners. Starting Date: Immediately Responsibilities Assist in the educational and social development of learners under the direction and guidance of the special educator and classroom teachers. Assist in supporting learners’ Individual Education Plans under the direction of the classroom teacher and special educator. Provide support for the individual, small group, and classroom-size groups of learners inside and outside the classroom. Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and student support staff. Assist and partner with classroom teachers to meet the needs of each individual. Use positive supports for learners with emotional or behavioral needs. Additional Responsibilities Participate in professional learning opportunities as designated. Perform all duties as assigned. Enjoy and collaborate within a learner-centered team environment. Qualifications At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred. High School or Trade School degree preferred.
