Senior QA Analyst - HybridGenesis10 is currently seeking a Senior QA Analyst - Hybrid for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role requires a subject matter expert with deep functional and technical knowledge of assigned applications to lead and govern testing efforts. The selected candidate will partner closely with Development and Product teams to ensure quality outcomes, define comprehensive test strategies, and drive continuous improvement in a hybrid agile environment. This position has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.Responsibilities:Serve as a subject matter expert with deep functional and technical knowledge of assigned applications; partner closely with Development and Product teams to ensure quality outcomesLead and govern testing efforts across business change initiatives, aligning with change management activities and contributing to overall release readiness plansDefine and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensure appropriate coverage, analyze results, and provide guidance on quality risks and release decisionsMentor and coach junior team members; drive testing best practices, foster a culture of learning, and champion continuous improvement and testing excellenceAssess the impact of new or modified requirements on existing and new systems, ensuring risks and dependencies are identified earlyProactively identify project bottlenecks, risks, and impediments; track issues to resolution and escalate when necessaryOversee defect management end to end, including identification of edge cases, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution trackingEnsure testing dependencies, risks, and quality concerns are clearly documented, communicated, and actively managedAct as the primary escalation point for testing-related issues that may impact scope, timeline, or delivery qualityQuickly adapt to and operationalize newly introduced processes, tools, or enterprise standardsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test effectiveness, delivery quality, and operational efficiencyLeverage enterprise testing and delivery tools such as JIRA and ALM Octane for planning, execution, reporting, and governanceIdentify and implement process improvements to support end to end integrated testing across multiple systems and interfacesProvide guidance on test automation strategy and adoption, ensuring alignment with overall quality and delivery objectivesCollaborate and communicate effectively with leadership, business partners, customers, and external teams as requiredDevelop and maintain the System Test Plan, including risk assessments, test approach, and documented workarounds where applicableMaintain transparent and proactive communication across all project stakeholders and impacted partiesProvide hands on testing or leadership support during critical phases of delivery to ensure milestones and deadlines are metRequirements:Demonstrated expertise in QA processes, testing standards, and delivery quality governance in complex environmentsStrong command of test planning, execution, defect management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery modelsStrong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills with a risk based mindsetProven stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiencesAbility to work effectively across distributed teams and drive quality initiatives in a matrixed organizationExperience with SeleniumExperience with Functional/Manual TestingExperience with Agile tools (e.g., Bitbucket, JIRA, ALM Octane)Desired Skills:SDM/Horizon automationKnowledge of IBM Connect:DirectKnowledge of IBM/Sterling's Sterling Integrator 5.x/6.xPay range: $49.37 - $57.37 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
