Electrical and Instrumentation Designer

Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Designer to support capital and maintenance projects within the oil & gas industry. This role is responsible for developing detailed electrical and instrumentation design packages, collaborating with engineering and construction teams, and supporting projects from design through commissioning. Responsibilities Develop electrical and instrumentation drawings, including P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and layout drawings. Support design efforts for capital and maintenance projects at industrial oil & gas facilities. Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution. Perform field walkdowns to verify existing conditions and support project development. Ensure designs comply with NEC, API, ISA, and client standards. Revise drawings based on project changes and provide support during construction and commissioning. Qualifications 3+ years of E&I design experience within the oil & gas industry. Proficiency with AutoCAD (SmartPlant, AVEVA, or similar software is a plus). Strong understanding of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. Experience supporting EPC or owner-operator projects. Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. #J-18808-Ljbffr Spencer Ogden
