GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST

Job Duties

The following duties are expected:

1. Serves as the supply liaison between the senior ART and subordinate units within the wing, key staff, NAF, host support base and higher headquarters.
2. Serves as the wing focal point for all supply related matters during unit mobility exercises and deployments.
3. Performs staff assistance visits to subordinate units to evaluate local management procedures, recommends corrective action, trains personnel in correct procedures and insures good working relationships exists between wing and host base supply accounts.
4. Develops, provides guidance, and assures implementation of the training programs, including annual tours for all reserve supply personnel assigned to the wing and any geographically separated units (GSUs).
5. Maintains surveillance of the wing supply program, coordinating with host supply and squadrons concerning changes, discrepancies and inventories related to the organizations equipment and supplies.
6. Represents the wing at supply meetings and conferences with the host base supply function and at MAJCOM level.
7. Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments related to supply functions.
