Function:
WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Emergency Room Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Honesdale, PA.
Job Responsibilities
Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.

Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse

Educates patients on surgical procedures ƒ Records patients medical information and vital signs

Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays

Initiates corrective action whenever the patient

Requirements:
Required Documents include:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Current State RN license (or willingness to obtain)

1-2 years of acute care experience in this speciality

BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS
PALS

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Weekly Pay: $2,600

Bill Rate: $95

Hourly Pay: $68

Shift & Hours: 3x12 Mids -3pm-330pm or 11am-330pm (EOW- Holiday rotation)

Submission Requirements:
Current RN license for the state of Pennsylvania

2 years of acute ED RN experience is required

BLS & ACLS, PALS, TNCC PREF. certifications from the American Heart Association

Resume, Primetime Cover Sheet, Skills Checklist, NURSYS

Manager will interview

EPIC exp required
RTO: MAX 7 days
FLOATING: will float to all ED floors, Could care for COVID patients

COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
