Availability

• Start Date: ASAP (Approximately 60 days for credentialing)
• Contract Length: 3 Months (Ongoing)
• Coverage Options:
  • 5-6 24-hour call shifts per month
  • 1-4 clinic days per month (optional)
  • Call-only schedule available
  • Clinic-only schedule available (up to 8 clinic days/month)

• Active Minnesota License - Required
• IMLC Accepted
• DEA - Required

Certifications / Qualifications

• Board Certified - Required
• ACLS - Required
• BLS - Required
• PALS - Required (AHA accepted)
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience - Required
• Must be comfortable performing TOLAC (Trial of Labor After Cesarean)
• Must be able to perform emergency surgery while on call

Practice Details

• Specialty: OB/GYN
• Setting: Clinic and Acute Care Hospital
• Trauma Level: Adult Level IV
• EMR: MEDITECH Expanse (Training Provided; Epic experience helpful)
• Clinic Volume: 15-18 patients per day
• Patient Population:
  • Clinic: Approximately 70% OB / 30% GYN
  • Ages: Primarily 18-40s; GYN includes menopausal patients
• General OB/GYN procedures
• No high-risk OB
• No Level II Nursery
• CRNAs and NNPs available on call (not in-house 24/7)

Support Staff

• RN (Triage)
• Medical Assistant
• LPN

Call Details

• 24-hour call shifts
• In-house from 8:30 AM-4:00 PM during weekday call
• After hours, must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital
• Call Rotation: 1:5, including every 5th weekend
• Approximately 30 births per month shared among 5 providers
