You will work closely with various departments to gather and analyze financial information, identify trends, and apply controls.LOCATION: We are focused on candidates located in New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data, preparing models, and assisting in the development of financial plans.Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports, highlight key insights, and provide recommendations to the business.Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgeted and forecasted figures, explaining key drivers of variance.Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to various departments and management as required.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance reporting accuracy.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Operations, and Marketing, to gather data and insights for financial analysis.WHAT YOU'LL BRING:3+ years experience plus Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data.Proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and other analytical tools.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly and concisely.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Prior internship or work experience in finance or accounting is preferred but not required.Knowledge of financial systems and ERP software is a plus.Compensation + Benefits Compensation for this full-time position includes base salary + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
