Welding Inspector

Location: Baltimore, Maryland. Welding Inspector Welding Inspector – a field‑based, hands‑on role where you conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and standards. You will review and interpret welding procedures, identify and address welding defects, and maintain professional relationships with clients and contractors while delivering excellent work. Your work is vital to ensuring the integrity and safety of natural gas distribution projects through thorough inspections and quality assurance processes. Responsibilities Perform visual inspections of welds in field settings. Review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards. Identify and document welding defects. Maintain communication with clients and contractors to ensure compliance. Provide hands‑on oversight and compliance guidance in gas pipeline construction or maintenance projects. Qualifications Certification such as CWI or CPWI is required. Prior welding experience in gas pipeline construction or maintenance is essential. Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
