Pediatric Behavioral Health/Social Work

Pay Range: $22.05 - $33.08

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Educates, prepares and supports infants, children, adolescents and their families through difficult tests, procedures and the sometimes-drastic changes that happen within their families due to chronic or acute illness, treatment and recovery. Provides a comprehensive program of services for emotional and developmental support to minimize the stress of illness/hospitalization. Advocate for the special needs of children and their families.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• Possess knowledge in human growth and development, family dynamics, play, developmental observation and assessment.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Certified Child Life Specialist is required. Certification required through Child Life Council, or eligible to take the exam.
