Maintenance Mechanic

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring that operation, maintenance and repair of all described Maintenance aspects of building and facilities.
• Use a variety of trade practices associated with the occupations of woodcrafter, masonry, pipefitting, carpentry, locksmith, sign making, general mechanic and plumbing.
• Making and repair of high grade wooden items such as cabinetry, furniture, orthopedic devices and decorative woodwork for use in offices and for medical and other uses.
• Maintenance, repair, alteration and construction of exterior and interior surfaces and structures build of a variety of brick, block and stone.
• Installing, modifying and repairing new and existing high-pressure piping systems and equipment such as steam heating, steam generation, and hydraulic systems, steam generators, flash and expansion tanks, condensate, vacuum, circulating pumps and radiators.
• Ability to apply a variety of graphic arts techniques, including freehand, automated sign machines and mechanical lettering to produce signs, posters and displays for inside and exterior use including building and reflective traffic signs.
• Apply a thorough knowledge of the full range of locking devices and their parts in order to select substitute parts which would be suitable for use in fabricating locking devices to meet special security objectives.

• Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, 11:00pm-7:30am
• Sunday to Thursday, 7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, 11:00pm-7:30am
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, 11:00pm-7:30am
