Job Summary:The Staffing Scheduler for Nursing Services will be responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns.Supervisory Responsibilities:Assists in recordkeeping and documentation of attendance and tardinessReviews complaints and grievances pertinent to scheduling and staffing and make necessary oral and/or written reports to the Staff CoordinatorDuties/Responsibilities:Establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistantsWorks with human resources/recruiting to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employeesMaintains the scheduling system for bi-weekly payrollAssists employees in accurate completion of forms pertinent to scheduling and staffing, including timecards, time off requests and leave of absence paperworkAssists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate actionDocuments employee calls regarding staffing and scheduling functionsActs as a back up for Staff Coordinator roleAdditional duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facilityGood typing and Mathematical SkillsEducation and Experience:High school education or GED equivalent required with college-level training preferred#RHRCRhinelander #J-18808-Ljbffr Rennes Health & Rehab Center
