The candidate should have a working knowledge of NiFi, be comfortable working in a Linux environment, interact with data ontologies (schemas), structured data types (XML, CSV, JSON), have database experience (MySQL/NoSQL) and analytic query experience with a platform. Candidate will work with numerous concurrent IC-provided data sets to identify, map and model data transformation routines supporting ingestion into the customer's corporate repositories and be able to document new and existing data flows supporting data routing implementations. A working knowledge of smart data systems and entitlements is highly desired, as well as experience with JAVA and Splunk. Salary Range: $160,000 - $240,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Salary will be set based on education, experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Requirements The System Engineer, shall have at least the following experience: Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
