- Carry out comprehensive assessments of patients, order pertinent diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care plans
- Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health issues collaboratively with your physician counterparts or autonomously, in line with your credentials
- Educate patients and their families about preventative care, wellness, and effective disease management
- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with your authorized practice
- Engage in ongoing follow-ups and management of chronic conditions
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide cohesive and holistic patient care
- Maintain thorough and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Nevada
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or acquire within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical insight paired with a nurturing bedside manner
- Strong communication abilities with patients, families, and your healthcare colleagues
