Project Engineer

Position The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Project Managers (PMs) and other key people within the organization with day‑to‑day tasks such as bidding, scheduling, contracts, billing and collection, and more. Responsibilities Safety software and applications (HCSS, financials, scheduling, etc.) Take‑offs Bidding Building activities (grading, paving, milling, subcontractors) Scheduling Equipment use Contracts and negotiation Billing and collection Specifications Knowledge of mix designs, plants, and aggregate sites (manufacturing) General business operations (understanding details of company operations) Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly tasks with other Project Engineers and PMs to ensure timely completion Work with Operations, PMs, Scheduling, and gain exposure to Manufacturing and Technical Services Attend project meetings (pre‑construction, pre‑pave, scheduling, etc.) Perform other related duties as required and assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree, vocational training, certification from an accredited organization, or equivalent combination of schooling and relevant work experience Excellent verbal and written communication, consulting, conflict management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record Preferred Skills Prior transportation experience EEO Statement We are an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action employer and it is our practice to provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants.
