Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 12th grade as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers the chance to make a genuine impact during a 10-week leave coverage beginning September 1st. Work with a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students, providing essential speech and language services in a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
Eligible for or hold state licensure as a school-based SLP
Experience with school-aged populations, ideally with students ranging from preschool through high school
Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
Strong communication and documentation skills
Collaborative mindset for working alongside educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services for a caseload of roughly 40 students, ages PreK-12
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
Provide direct intervention and consultation in individual and group settings
Track progress, maintain detailed records, and communicate outcomes with team members and families
Collaborate with faculty and parents to support student progress and generalization of skills
