We are looking to hire up to 2-4 Smiling Shift Leaders or Assistant Cafe Manager, to lead our new Moon Township location. The Shift Leader will assist in the development of the team, drive profitability and deliver unparalleled hospitality. The ideal candidate must lead with operational excellence and exceptional service, as well as uphold all brand standards.

Crew Leader Essential Functions

• Commitment to the company's purpose
• Keep a restaurant that invites the customer to a delightful experience
• Interacts with crew members and customers using ‘Tropitude’ (Tropitude is our “mojo” and means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere).
• Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer.
• Has knowledge and proficiency in each position within the café.
• Has successfully completed the Café Basics and Certified Trainer Programs.
• Ensures each station is operating to Tropical Smoothie Café’s high-quality standards.
• Trains and coaches crew members during each shift to ensure brand standards are upheld.
• Uses tools (including Jolt, Par Brink) to accomplish goals, manage labor and control inventory.

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time Flexible Schedules

Job Requirements:

• Must have 2.0+ years of Relevant Food Service experience
• Experience leading or training others in food service
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 2+ year of strong enthusiastic customer service experience
• Food Safety Manager Certification
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong English Language Communication skills
• Reliable Transportation and able to work in Moon township.
• Willingness and ability to continuously stand and walk throughout the duration of each shift.
• Willingness and ability to bend, lift and carrying up to 30 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions
• Willing and able to work hard and have FUN!

Preferred Experience:

• Food Service Supervisory experience: 1+ years (Preferred)
