Medical Assistant (Full-Time)

Summary: An essential role in the delivery of residential treatment services, this direct care position is primarily responsible for interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Address: 600 S White Horse Pike, Hammonton, NJ 08037 Shift:

1. st shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm, working every other weekend
2. nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, working every other weekend.

Pay: $18/hour, with shift differentials Shift Differentials: 7:00am - 3:00pm - 1st Shift differentials: (Saturday and Sunday) $1.00 3:00pm -11:00pm - 2nd Shift differentials: (Monday - Friday) $1.00 (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50 11:00pm - 7:00am - 3rd Shift Differentials: (Monday - Sunday) $1.50 Why work with us? Responsibilities: * Answer phone calls, complete documentation, and filing to support medical staff at the facility.

• Complete and maintain medical records.
• Assist with admissions and the consent process for clients and provide

ongoing support during medical appointments. * Obtain vital signs and urine screens and document outcomes for medical team review. * Complete lab requisitions on admission, monitor outcomes, and review with the medical team as needed.

• Create and distribute client packets.
• Maintain a safe physical environment for all clients.
• Maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and effectively communicate

and document changes to client status in charts and/or to the treatment team.

• Support prior authorization and medication ordering processes as needed.
• Schedule follow-up medical appointments and make external referrals for

clients as directed by the medical team. * Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CNA or Home Health Aide in NJ.
• Must have N.J. Certified Medical Assistant certification.
• Experience in drug and alcohol/mental health.
• Knowledgeable of HIPAA regulations and applicable laws/regulations, DDAP, and

CARF.
