Key Responsibilities:

• Telehealth Psychotherapy: Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological services (including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment) to individuals, couples, or families exclusively via your chosen secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform (e.g., HIPAA-compliant Zoom, Google Meet, Doxy.me, etc.).
• Clinical Excellence: Conduct thorough clinical assessments and formulate treatment plans tailored to the remote therapy environment.
• Compliant Documentation: Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical records in accordance with APA ethical guidelines, HIPAA, and all relevant state laws governing telehealth.
• Independent Practice Management: Manage all client communications, scheduling, and practice policies as an autonomous practitioner.
• Ethical Practice: Adhere strictly to the APA Code of Ethics and all state-specific legal requirements for providing psychological services via telehealth.

Requirements:

• Education: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Licensure: Must possess a current, active, and unrestricted license to practice psychology independently in at least one US state.
• Experience: Verifiable post-licensure experience in providing diagnosis and psychotherapy to diverse client populations.
• Telehealth Proficiency & Setup:
  • Must provide and maintain your own HIPAA-compliant video conferencing solution (e.g., Zoom for Healthcare, Google Workspace, etc.).
  • Must have a professional, private setting suitable for confidential video sessions and reliable high-speed internet.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of HIPAA and the unique ethical and legal considerations of telepsychology.
• Professional Liability Insurance: Must maintain an active malpractice insurance policy.
