Registered Nurse Stepdown
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in stepdown care. The role involves caring for patients who require post-operative monitoring and support. Responsibilities include managing cardiac drips and providing necessary interventions for patient stability. The nurse will utilize bipaps and other equipment as needed for patient treatment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. A commitment to compassionate patient care is essential. Position requires a proactive approach to patient assessment and a readiness to respond to emergencies. Strong teamwork and communication skills are crucial for success in this role. The work environment includes caring for patients post-cardiovascular surgeries.
Experience: 2+ years License: Current State Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience with Post CV Surgeries. Titrating Cardiac Drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol). Bipaps and utilizing Airvos. Ability to recognize a deteriorating patient.
