Job Title

RN - Labor and Delivery (Epic)

Location

San Luis Obispo, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 36–48 hours per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and provide nursing care to patients and families during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods
• Respond to and manage emergency obstetric situations as they arise
• Circulate for Cesarean Section procedures
• Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel in accordance with their scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum two years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current RN license in state of practice required
• Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years required; must have current active Epic experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from an approved vendor required
• Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) or AWHONN certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Documented work history clearly identifying EMR systems used, including dates when multiple systems were utilized at a single employer
