Edgewood Center for Rehab is seeking a motivated and compassionate Part Time and Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current NH PTA license in good standing

• Long-term care and/or geriatric experience preferred

Position Summary

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, the PTA provides direct physical therapy services focused on improving residents’ functional performance and daily living skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist

• Complete accurate and timely documentation

• Monitor resident responses and communicate progress to the supervising PT

• Assist with transfers, mobility training, positioning, exercises, and therapeutic activities

• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and equipment

• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and safety

• Assist with discharge planning and equipment recommendations

• Support a positive, safe, and collaborative rehab environment
