Check us out at Position Summary E.S. Wagner Company, LLC has an excellent opportunity for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic . A sample of the position's duties and responsibilities include: Inspecting various types of off‑road heavy equipment including trucks, excavators, bulldozers, etc. for proper performance. Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment. Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts. Repairing damaged equipment parts. Performing major repair work. Consulting/collaborating with other mechanics as needed. Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to Equipment Department management. Qualifications 2 years experience/training in hydraulics, diesel mechanics, and electrical troubleshooting. Caterpillar experience preferred. 5 years proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic. Understanding of computer testing technologies. Demonstrated ability to work safely and promote a safe work environment. Excellent team and communication skills. Ability to problem‑solve and adjust to changing circumstances. Successfully pass pre‑employment drug screening. Charlotte‑Douglas International Airport does not allow individuals to work on this jobsite if they have been convicted of a felony within the previous 10 years.
