Lot Operations Specialist II (Manheim)

Job Responsibilities Organize and maintain the placement of vehicles within the designated zone or move to a defined area. Conduct walks to identify vehicle condition as runners or non‑runners. Oversee lot coordination to maintain continuous traffic flow. Pull and maintain the keys for any unsafe vehicles and report to management. Monitor traffic to identify potential blockages. Direct drivers on vehicle assignments. Move running vehicles and stage them safely to their proper work destinations. Direct transporters to the proper car drop zone, report transport damage as needed, and confirm that all delivered vehicles are inoperable. Input accurate vehicle information into a handheld device using crew‑management reporting. Work cooperatively with safety leadership to support all safety activities aligned with safety excellence. Set an example in behavior by championing Cox‑Manheim values. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge (identifying flat tires, low gas, jump‑starting vehicles). Ability to stand for prolonged periods. 1 year customer service experience preferred. Valid driver's license and safe driving record. Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Effective verbal communication and customer service skills. Work Environment Exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Compensation Hourly pay range: $15.10 – $22.69 per hour. The base rate may vary within this range based on location and candidate qualifications. The position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commission or incentive programs. Benefits Employees are eligible for at least sixteen hours of paid time off per month and seven paid holidays per year. Additional paid time off is available for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer work, military leave, and parental leave.
