Schedule: Full-time, day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 143 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: TBD

Requirements:

• At least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting
• Maintain certification as a Medical Assistant
• BLS Certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical support procedures under the supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician.
• Execute blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests, and other relevant procedures within scope of MA certification.
• Assist physicians in examinations by taking vital signs such as blood pressure and pulse.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in examination rooms.
• Handle patient communications, including phone calls and instructions as directed by the physician.
• Manage medical records, including referral forms and lab slips, as required by the physician.
• Aid patients getting to and from exam rooms and assist during examinations or procedures.

• Must maintain discretion and confidentiality regarding all practice-related matters.
