We are currently seeking a Project Manager / SM to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale Data Warehouse Modernization Program (~200,000 hours, multi-year) . This role will partner closely with the Program Manager & leadership team to drive parallel workstreams, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure predictable delivery within cost and timeline commitments .

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex data transformation programs , handling multi-stream execution , and driving governance in hybrid (Agile + Waterfall) environments .

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery & Execution Management

• Own end-to-end delivery of multiple parallel workstreams (3–5 streams)
• Develop and manage integrated master schedule (IMS) and delivery plans
• Track milestones, critical path, and deliverables
• Drive execution to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery

2. Dependency & Workstream Orchestration

• Identify and manage cross-workstream dependencies
• Enable safe parallelization / shift-left execution strategies
• Conduct dependency reviews, execution war rooms, and alignment forums
• Resolve   integration bottlenecks and sequencing conflicts

3. Financial & Effort Governance

• Track effort burn vs baseline (200K+ hours program)
• Monitor:
• Resource utilization
• Budget adherence
• Cost variances
• Support forecasting, re-baselining, and cost optimization

4. Risk, Issue & Change Management

• Maintain and actively manage RAID logs
• Identify risks related to:
• Parallel execution
• Data migration
• Integration dependencies
• Drive proactive mitigation and escalation management

5. Stakeholder Management & Reporting

• Interface with:
• Program Manager
• Client stakeholders
• Architecture & Data teams
• Provide:
• Executive-level status updates
• Insightful reporting (risks, trends, decisions needed)

6. Agile & Hybrid Delivery Governance

• Manage delivery across:
• Agile teams (ETL, pipelines, reporting)
• Waterfall phases (migration, platform setup)
• Support:
• Sprint planning, PI planning
• Milestone-based governance

7. Quality & Release Management

• Define entry/exit criteria for key phases
• Oversee:
• Integrated testing coordination
• Release readiness across streams
• Ensure data quality and validation checkpoints

8. Team Leadership

• Lead large distributed teams (30–80+ resources)
• Coordinate workstream leads and delivery pods
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and delivery discipline

Required Experience

Must-Have

• 12–18 years of overall experience
• 7+ years in Project/Delivery Management roles
• Proven experience in:
• Large-scale programs (>100K hours / $10M+)
• Data Warehouse / Data Lake / Cloud Modernization initiatives
• Experience managing parallel workstreams and complex dependencies

Preferred

• Experience in:
• Cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks)
• Data migration / legacy modernization programs
• Multi-vendor or global delivery environments

Technical Awareness

• Strong understanding of:
• Data warehousing concepts
• ETL/ELT pipelines

• Familiarity with modern cloud data ecosystems

• Managing scaled delivery with multiple concurrent streams
• Handling shift-left execution challenges
• Conflict and dependency resolution at scale

Financial & Commercial Acumen

• Budget management and forecasting
• Effort tracking and variance analysis
• Cost control and optimization

Communication & Leadership

• Excellent stakeholder communication
• Executive reporting and storytelling
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Agile / Hybrid Delivery

• Experience in Agile (Scrum / SAFe)
• Ability to manage hybrid delivery models

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Program Manager
Works closely with: Workstream Leads, Architects, Data Engineers, Client Stakeholders

• Certifications: PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe (preferred)
• Experience in global delivery model is a plus
