Position Overview: A well-established community-based health system is seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Anesthesiologist for a full-time flex/hybrid position. Join an established, collegial anesthesia team with 7.5 physicians and 13 CRNAs at a community hospital with academic affiliation. Position Highlights Full-time position with a structured, shift-based schedule.Physicians fulfill their FTE commitment through a combination of scheduled coverage shifts, including daytime and 24-hour coverage opportunities, designed to support continuous patient care and team coverage needs.Typical weeks:one 24-hour shift plus two 12-hour day shifts (1 24 + 2 12).On weeks when the team is fully staffed: four 12-hour day shifts (4 12), weekdays only.The 24-hour shift may fall on a weekday or weekend, typically no more than one weekend shift every two weeks.All shifts count toward the 48-hour weekly obligation and base salary; schedule varies based on team needs.Variety of cases including Endo, Ortho, Uro, Vascular, General Surgery, Plastics, Robotics, OB-GYN, GI, IR, and healthy Pediatrics. No heads, no hearts.Medical direction model: CRNAs practice under MD supervision with a maximum coverage ratio of 1:4.EMR: EPIC Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary of $550,000, based on experience.Relocation assistance to help make your move seamless (up to $10,000 with three quotes provided).Robust sign-on bonus: $30,000 payable at commencement of employment.Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement programs, malpractice with tail coverage.Generous paid time off: 8 weeks PTO + 1 week CME (9 weeks total).Annual CME allowance and dedicated CME time: $5,000 per year for travel, dues, and subscriptions.Licensure support: reimbursement for NYS license, DEA, and medical staff dues.Loan forgiveness: $20,000 per year for up to 5 years ($100,000 total). Qualifications MD or DO with completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency.Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.Comfortable with independent overnight coverage in a community hospital setting.
