Los puestos de Servicio son responsables de una amplia variedad de tareas relacionadas con la preparación y el servicio de alimentos. Pueden requerirse tareas rutinarias de servicio de alimentos en diversas áreas del departamento, como la cafetería, la cocina y/o el área de servicio designada. Los Servidores Líder también son responsables de mantener la línea del almuerzo ordenada y en movimiento. Además, brindan apoyo, capacitación y desarrollo a los servidores cuando sea necesario. Los Servidores Líder también asisten en varios planteles escolares cuando lo indique el Gerente de Cuenta. Completan tareas administrativas diarias según lo indicado por el Gerente de Cuenta y por mi administración.
Resumen del Puesto:Como Servidor, usted es responsable de una amplia variedad de tareas relacionadas con la preparación y el servicio de alimentos. Puede requerirse la realización de tareas rutinarias de servicio de alimentos en diversas áreas del departamento, como cafetería, cocina y/o área designada de servicio.
Funciones y Responsabilidades:Verificar la temperatura de los alimentos al recibirlos
Preparar el área para las operaciones diarias con artículos calientes y/o fríos
Practicar procedimientos seguros de manipulación de alimentos
Mantener un ambiente de trabajo limpio, sanitario y seguro; retirar la basura de todas las áreas y desecharla en los contenedores adecuados
Reportar problemas o inquietudes al Gerente de Servicio
Brindar orientación y capacitación a otros empleados que realicen trabajos relacionados, según sea necesario
Servir en otras ubicaciones para cubrir a otros miembros del equipo o asistir a capacitaciones, según sea necesario
Realizar otras tareas relacionadas con el trabajo según se asignen
Capacidad para mostrar y mantener un alto nivel de apariencia, comportamiento y actitud profesional
Capacidad para comprender y cumplir con los estándares de alimentos para la salud, seguridad y excelencia
Debe tener habilidades básicas de matemáticas, lectura y escritura
Capacidad para mantenerse alerta y concentrado en un entorno de ritmo rápido
Capacidad para comprender y seguir instrucciones
Períodos prolongados de pie
Debe poder trabajar de lunes a viernes
Debe poder levantar, cargar y mover hasta 30 libras (aprox. 13.6 kg)
Certificado de Manipulador de Alimentos; se requiere mantenerlo durante todo el empleo
Se prefiere experiencia previa en servicio de alimentos
