You will thrive at TerraClear with a positive attitude, a collaborative mindset, a healthy dose of grit and a passion for solving real-world problems.We are looking for a result-driven full-stack Software Development / Technical Support Engineer to participate in the development of TerraClear applications which span a range of target platforms (Web, iOS, Android, Linux). Your success will allow the company to enhance the customer experience, expedite availability of rock maps and scale our commercial rock mapping services.In this role, you will:Build, debug and support real-time actionable mapping solutions that are highly reliable, innovative and high performanceSupport real-time in-field image edge processingDesign, implement and deploy front-end elements, REST-based back-end services and database design schemas across TerraClear's application stackPartner with Product Management and Software Engineering team members to review application functionality requirements and interface designEnsure our suite of applications remain current with major 3rd party dependency releases and current design / implementation practicesWork in Agile environment to prioritize tasks and deliver technical milestones on scheduleExperience - Required:1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in commercial product environmentBS or MS in Software Engineering, CS (or related field) or commensurate work experienceKnowledge of computer science fundamentalsKnowledge of how to leverage GenAI tools to expedite the design, development and debugging of commercial quality software applicationsKnowledge of REST-based backend servicesKnowledge of Node JS, Angular/React JS/TypeScriptKnowledge of MVC architectureStrong communication, positive attitude and excellent team playerWillingness to travel to our field offices and testing areasExperience - Nice to have:Knowledge of Linux operating systemWork experience with a relational database, preferably PostgreSQLExposure to AWS services such as Lambda/API Gateway/SQSProficiency in commercial SDLC processes, including source code management tools (GitHub)Compensation Range = $80-125kTerraClear does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
