Travel RN - ICU - Nights

Location: Thornton, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6 PM - 6 AM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for our ICU unit. Our unit consists of two pods with a total of 28 beds. The ICU is equipped to handle a variety of complex medical cases, including neuro surgical and trauma patients, cardiac and respiratory arrests, and patients with alcohol or drug withdrawal. Our facility prides itself on the quality of care provided, with a supportive team of intensivists available 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment for patient assessment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Support patients and families through education and emotional support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications are required.
• Preferred certifications: TNCC and experience with Meditech.
