General Laborer Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Clean and prepare construction sites
- Dig trenches and backfill holes
- Operate hand and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, and jackhammers
- Mix, pour, spread, and level concrete or asphalt
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, and equipment operators
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Move materials using wheelbarrows, carts, and dollies
- Perform demolition work and site cleanup
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Construction experience preferred but not required
