Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Job Description

The Mechanical Technician installs, assembles, and maintains mechanical and electrical systems in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This role focuses on interpreting blueprints and work orders, performing mechanical and electrical assembly, wiring panel components, and ensuring that finished products meet established quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and work orders efficiently.
• Hands-on experience using a variety of power tools, including torque wrenches, grinders, welding equipment, drills, and saws.
• Demonstrated ability to perform wiring for panel components and electrical assemblies.
• Practical experience with mechanical assembly and installation work.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and components, including basic troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulics in a mechanical or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to use measuring tools accurately to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and providing solutions.
• Understanding of quality control practices to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Capability to follow Bills of Materials (BOMs) and detailed assembly instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial production facility.
• Comfort working with both mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while contributing to a team environment.
• Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

This is a Permanent position based out of Donora, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr.

They offer 3 different benefit packages for health/dental/vision, match 50% of what you contribute to your 401k up to 8% (they'd match 4), offer 3 food trucks on site Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday for all employees, paid holidays, financial advisor and health coach available. PTO Schedule: 0-4 years = 10 Days. 5-14 years = 15 days. 15-19 years = 20 days. 20-29 years = 25 days. If needing to use pto for more than 3 days at a time, must be submitted before 2 weeks of timeframe.
