Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a position located in Modesto, California. This role involves providing direct clinical care to patients on a per shift basis, supervising staff, and supporting high standards of quality and safety in patient care. The nurse will report to the facilitys management team and collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Location: Modesto, California
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D), California residency or proper licensing/license eligibility, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in the specialty
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a labor and delivery setting, strong assessment and supervisory skills, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification or similar
• Additional Information: The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients during each shift. The role includes supervising staff to which care is delegated and ensuring compliance with facility standards to promote safe, high-quality patient outcomes. The onboarding process is scheduled at the facility location, which is accessible with dedicated parking, and requires reporting at 7:00 AM on the start date.
