Protiviti is looking for a People Advisory & Organizational Change Senior Consultant to join our growing Business Performance Improvement team.

What You Can Expect

As a Senior Consultant, you will be a mentor, trainer, and coach to Interns and Consultants as you facilitate the successful completion of project work plans. You’ll identify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency. You’ll strengthen relationships and deepen your abilities to communicate, gain trust, and network with client personnel and professional associates. At the direction of Managers, you may accept responsibility for decision-making in areas including establishing project scope and work plans, project staffing, preparation of deliverables, and application of methodologies.

Do Your Talents Include the Following?

• Experience with or understanding of:

• Leading current- and future-state org design and organizational modeling engagements, including spans and layers, org health, org shape, and IC-to-manager ratio analysis.

• Facilitating role design, job architecture, job family structuring, and job mapping efforts.

• Conducting activity analysis, capacity planning, and workforce sizing to inform organizational recommendations.

• Designing target operating models and interaction models that translate strategy into structure.

• Owning a workstream independently, with minimal day-to-day oversight, while keeping engagement leadership informed.

• Leading stakeholder interviews and facilitating working sessions and leadership workshops using design-thinking approaches.

• Developing executive-ready deliverables, project documentation, and client-facing presentations.

• Structuring and maintaining clean, well-governed workforce data to support analysis and modeling.

• Evaluating, summarizing, organizing, and interpreting organizational and workforce data.

• Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network.

• Ability to translate and communicate organizational design issues, risks, or challenges to client personnel, including executives.

• Supervisory experience of teams including mentoring, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

• 2+ years working at the Senior Consultant level, with 3-5 years of overall experience in organizational design, organizational effectiveness, or workforce/HR advisory, either in professional services or industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, Tableau, and Visio is a plus.

• Familiarity with organizational design tools such as Orgvue or comparable platforms (e.g., Nakisa) is a plus, though not required.

• Experience working with HRIS/workforce data from systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, or Oracle.

• Professional Certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PMP, or similar strongly preferred.

Our Hybrid Workplace

Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements vary by client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$104,000.00 - $156,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$114,400.00 - $171,600.00

We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
