Wastewater Project Manager

Join Our Team as a Wastewater Engineer Project Manager! Are you passionate about sustainable infrastructure and ready to lead transformative wastewater projects? We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager Wastewater Engineer to provide extreme client service, oversee the planning, design, and execution of critical water and wastewater initiatives. In this role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage with clients and stakeholders, and drive innovative solutions that protect public health and the environment. Responsibilities Provide proactive leadership and engineering solutions by developing and implementing business development strategies to drive local growth that is in partnership and alignment with strategic goals. Provide professional services for water/wastewater engineering projects to include planning, study, design, and construction administration on projects related to water/wastewater treatment Manage performance of assigned project team members including Project Engineers, Junior Engineers, and Technicians Maintain existing client relationships and develop relationships with prospective/new clients Identify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunities Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months Experience in water treatment process design Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development Ability to work remotely and manage projects, clients, and project team members All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in civil engineering or related field 8+ years water or wastewater consulting experience in Utah Proven client relationships and an interest in business development Knowledge of Utah design standards and permitting Knowledge of Utah funding programs Physical Qualifications Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
