About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Scrub and Circulate Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: 3 to 5 years recent scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases License: RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA) required; CNOR preferred Must-Have: Must scrub and circulate, primarily scrubbing Description: Must have experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases. Examples of cases include, but are not limited to, coronary artery bypass (primary and redo), aortic aneurysms, AVR and MVR (primary and redo), TAVR, ECMO, and VAD. Adult experience is required; pediatric experience is a plus. Ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills is essential. Participation in numerous research protocols is ongoing. Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality are required. Participation in professional activities of the department is expected. Call may be required. Understanding that holidays are required per department need. Must add any time off requested to the end of contracts for a full duration of 13 working weeks. Must be able to comply with rotating weekend expectations based on departmental needs. Epic access is needed.
