Registered Nurse - PACU - Full Time - Night Shift

Job Details Facility: CoxHealth South – 3801 S National Ave, Springfield, MO 65807. Department: 1058 Post Anesthesia Care Unit South. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours – 9:00PM to 7:30AM, Monday through Thursday (Night Shift). No weekends or on‑call duties. Position Overview The Registered Nurse will manage the care of patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. Responsibilities include: assessing patient condition, administering medications, changing dressings, monitoring vital signs, keeping records, and providing patients and families with support and education. Responsibilities Assess patient condition and develop care plans. Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders. Change dressings and provide wound care. Monitor vital signs and document findings accurately. Maintain up-to-date patient records. Provide support, education, and counseling to patients and families. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN‑approved program. Active RN license in the state of Missouri. BLS certification obtained within 90 days of hire. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). Preferred Experience and Skills Previous nursing experience (preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Strong time‑management and multi‑tasking skills. Critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills.
