Tell us about the unit(s): 5 OR's

Current staffing: 5 FT RN including Manager and Boardrunner, 2 PT RN (one on FMLA), 3 PRN RN (4 Open Reqs for FT nurses) 12 surgical Techs

Type of staff:

Current Day Shift – 1 charge, 1 manager, 3 day shift RN, 1 day/evening two days a week, 1 attendant, 12 techs

Current Evening Shift – 1 nurse on call, 1 evening nurse until 7pm two nights a week

Patient Ratios – 1 to 1

Type of equipment - Basic OR equipment (cautery, video monitors, arthroscopy equip, positioning equip)

EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

OR circulator experience

BLS/ACLS

Ability to fulfill rotating call (one night a week minimum, one weekend per 5wk schedule minimum)

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Experience in orthopedics, general, gynecology, robotics, urology, vascular, Cardiovascular, Neuro, thoracic
