Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite | Projected Start: June 29, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, 52-bed freestanding emergency department setting
• Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedation support, and pediatric care using a team nursing model
• Maintain accurate documentation and scanning of patients and medications per unit policy using Meditech EMR
• Manage patient ratios averaging 3:1, with low-acuity assignments up to 5:1, and pediatric team nursing as applicable
• Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, midlevel providers, techs, and unit clerks across night shift operations

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience
• Prior travel nursing experience or experience in a large emergency department facility
• Proficiency with Alaris infusion equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Prior experience in a 52-bed or larger emergency department
• Strong focus on patient experience and satisfaction
