Assistant Director Of Nursing (ADON)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join the leadership team at a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in the Mentor/Lake County area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RN who is passionate about resident care, staff development, and supporting a positive, team-oriented nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations and nursing department oversight.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff.
Help ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
Support infection prevention, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.
Assist with staff education, training, and clinical development.
Promote high standards of resident care and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Active Ohio RN license required.
Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting strongly preferred.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and clinical best practices.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred.
