Shipping Associate
The Shipping Associate is responsible for all aspects of preparing customer orders for timely shipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining appropriate shipping documentation and records
- Track and pack customer orders in proper sequence for shipment
- Verify part numbers, quantities, revisions, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
- Utilize small cart or other hand operated equipment to move parts and product between work areas
- Receive finished goods from production and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities as needed.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping area.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and Customer Service to meet delivery schedules.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and shipping procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience with shipping software or ERP systems.
- Ability to read work orders, packing instructions, and shipping documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
