We're seeking a motivated board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine specialist to establish and grow our brand-new Internal Medicine service within a thriving specialty and emergency hospital. Perform and/or oversee diagnostics such as ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and advanced imaging as available. Coordinate with specialty and emergency teams on shared patients and transfers. Mentor technicians and assistants as part of daily case management. Pursue growth opportunities in ultrasound proficiency, interventional procedures, and emerging treatment modalities. Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care. Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations. Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning. What You Bring DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Kansas veterinary licensure. Board Certification in Internal Medicine (DACVIM) or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine.
