Waterfront and Swimming Supervisor

Waterfront and Swim Positions Teach swimming to campers on beautiful Moose Pond in Maine. Founded in 1902, Wyonegonic is a residential camp for girls ages 8‑15 with a rich history of camp tradition. Campers learn about themselves in a non‑competitive atmosphere and enjoy the beauty of friendships. Live and work in the simplicity of the outdoors on our large outdoor lakeside property. Waterfront and Swim Positions are for staff who can instruct in lesson programs, oversee recreation swims and safety procedures on the lakeside waterfront. Training and Certification is available and starts June 8. Work is available through August 13 or 24. Responsibilities Teach swimming lessons to campers. Oversee recreation swims and enforce safety procedures on the lakeside waterfront. Live with campers in lakefront cabins and act as a positive role model. Supervise, teach and encourage campers in a non‑competitive camp program. Instruct in at least one activity area such as ropes, climbing wall, sailing, canoe, SUP, archery, riflery, windsurfing, creative arts, horseback riding, etc. Qualifications Previous swim or lifeguard experience is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a flexible environment. Training & Certification Wyonegonic Camps provides and covers the cost for all necessary certifications and training on site in June for those who are not currently certified (American Red Cross WSI and Waterfront Lifeguard). #J-18808-Ljbffr Seeds of Peace Camp
