18.02 - 21.43 USD per hour Description Location: Brooks Memorial Hospital Location of Job : US:NY:Dunkirk Work Type : Full-Time Shift 2 Job Description The Environmental Services Aide provides the necessary level of cleaning to ensure that the hospital is a highly attractive, clean and safe environment for all patients, visitors and staff, meeting accreditation, regulatory and professional standards for environmental sanitation in accordance with Hospital standards. Under the supervision of the Director of Environmental Services, the Environmental Services Aide follows all Hospital policies and procedures that are required to maintain a clean environment for the treatment and recovery of all patients, and performs those duties that are necessary to keep the hospital hazard free. Education And Credentials No Education required. Requires good reading, writing and verbal communication skills, and ability to follow instructions; must be pleasant, tactful, courteous and respectful; working with a variety licensed and non-licensed professionals; positive interaction with patients and visitors; the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with a team to achieve common goals; must complete tasks despite frequent interruptions. Experience At least one year of experience in the Environmental Services field. Experience in the Environmental Services field in a health care setting strongly preferred.
