Medical Lab TechnicianPosition Title: Medical Lab Technician (Sign on: $15K)Location: Panama City, FL Employment Type: Full-TimeShifts Available:Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Rotating Weekends)Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Rotating Weekends)Position Overview: We are seeking a Medical Lab Technician to join our team. This facility offers comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services and is recognized for excellence in areas including cardiac care, women's health, emergency services, and advanced pediatric and neonatal care.Key Responsibilities:Perform technical laboratory procedures in areas such as chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunologyAccurately report test results, alerting providers or nurses to critical or abnormal findings per protocolMaintain proper specimen collection procedures and ensure quality control and accurate documentationSet up, calibrate, maintain, and sterilize laboratory equipment and instrumentsRequirements:Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferredCertification: MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification requiredLicensure: Current State Medical Laboratory Technician License requiredExperience: Prior laboratory experience preferred; candidates with a valid license who are recent graduates or have relevant clinical/lab assistant experience will also be consideredCandidate Profile: We are seeking candidates with a solid foundation in clinical laboratory practices.
